Consultation templates are managed by administrators and define the standard structure for common consultation types.
Navigate to Configuration > Consultation Templates.
The template list shows two tabs:
Each template shows its name, category, status, and creation/modification dates.
Templates follow a lifecycle:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being built or edited, not available for use |
| Published | Active and available in the consultation template picker |
| Archived | No longer available for new consultations |
System templates are provided by the platform and cannot be edited directly. To customise one, Clone it to create a practice-level copy, then edit the clone.
Tip: Start by cloning system templates and adjusting them to your practice's workflow. This gives you a solid foundation without building from scratch.
