Signing a user out of all sessions

If a team member loses a device, you think someone else may have accessed their account, or they're leaving the practice, you can sign them out of Jump everywhere in one click.

How to sign someone out

  1. Go to Users.
  2. Find the team member in the list and open the ⋯ (actions) menu on their row.
  3. Select Sign out of all sessions.
  4. Confirm in the dialog.

What happens next

  • They are immediately signed out of Jump on every device and browser they were logged in on.
  • They'll need to log in again to keep using Jump.
  • This does not change their password or their two-factor authentication — they log back in exactly as before. If you also want to remove their 2FA, use Reset 2FA instead.

Who can do this

Signing a user out is available to staff who can manage users (the Manage users permission), which you can grant under Settings → Roles & permissions.

Keeping track

Every forced sign-out is logged under Settings → User Activity, showing who did it and for whom.
