Volume pricing
The rate falls as your team grows.
The per-user rate for each band, applied automatically. Bands stack like tax bands: your first five users are charged at the top rate, the next ten at the band below, and so on - the calculator above does the maths for your exact team.
Billed annually. Excludes VAT. The rate shown is each band's marginal rate; the calculator above blends them for your exact team.
Day passes
Not everyone needs a full licence.
A pass is £12.50 and covers one person for one whole day. Five people who each need access once a month share a single £62.50 pack between them, so locums, bank staff and the partner who is in on a Thursday never need a licence sitting idle for the other four weeks.
One person, one whole day
A pass covers a named person for a full day of use. In at eight or in at four, it is the same single pass.
Packs of 5, £62.50 a month
That is £12.50 a pass-day, pooled across the practice rather than allocated per person. Five people who each come in once a month share one pack between them.
Pass users are not licences
They do not count towards your licence count, so they never push your licensed team into a different volume band.
Nobody is turned away
If a busy month runs past the allowance we add a pack automatically, so a clinician is never blocked by billing. Switch that off whenever you like.
Price a mixed team
10 people working, 3 licensed and 7 on passes
£300 a month less than 10 full licences
At your size a licence costs £100 a month, so a pass is the cheaper way to cover anyone in fewer than 8 days a month.
Passes bill monthly on their own subscription, so an annual plan stays annual. Unused pass-days do not roll over at renewal. Excludes VAT. Day passes are switched on per practice - ask us and we will enable them.
Getting started
Optional help to get you live.
The software is self-serve, but if you are moving from another system or want your team trained, we can help. Both are one-off, and neither is required.
Onboarding & migration
A structured import from Semble that brings your records across as coded data, plus configuration and go-live support. One-off.
Training days
Hands-on sessions for your team, as many or as few as you want. Book them when it suits you, add more later.
Usage-based costs
Two things you pay for as you use them.
Everything in the plan is included in your per-user price. Two things are billed by usage instead, so you only pay for what you actually put through.
Card payments
Taking patient payments through the built-in Stripe integration carries a 0.5% transaction fee. Only applies if you take card payments in Jump.
Patient SMS
Reminders and messages are billed at 5p per fragment (160 characters), so a longer text uses more than one. You only pay for what you send.
Frequently asked questions
A clinician is any user who needs to create consultations, prescribe medications, or access patient clinical records. Administrative staff who only book appointments or manage invoices are still counted as users - every named user, clinical or administrative, is billed under the same per-user pricing. There's no free or unlimited allowance for either role.
No. Plans are month-to-month or annual. You can cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. We'll help you export your data if you decide to leave.
All integrations are included as standard - there's no separate tier to unlock them. Stripe and Xero for billing, The Doctors Laboratory for pathology results, Gmail and Firetext for communications, Google Drive for documents, and more.
We offer a 30-day trial. No credit card required. We'll walk you through setup and data migration during your trial.
A day pass covers one named person for one whole day of use. Whether they sign in at eight in the morning or at four in the afternoon, and however long they stay, it is the same single pass. Passes are bought in packs of five for £62.50 a month, which works out at £12.50 a pass-day.
Pass-days are pooled across the practice rather than allocated per person, so seven people using four days each draw on one shared allowance of twenty-eight. People on passes do not count towards your licence count, so they never push your licensed team into a different volume band.
Roughly when someone is in fewer than eight days a month, which is about two days a week. At £12.50 a pass-day, eight pass-days cost about the same as the £100 a month an annual licence works out at for a small practice. On monthly billing the crossover is nearer ten days.
The saving is largest for a practice with several occasional people rather than one part-timer, because pass-days pool. A practice with three full-time staff and seven ad hoc doing four days each pays for three licences plus six packs, instead of ten licences. Beyond the crossover a licence is simply the better buy, and the calculator on our pricing page will tell you so.
Nobody is turned away. If a busy month takes you past your allowance we add another pack automatically, so a clinician is never blocked from opening a patient record by a billing question. You can switch the automatic top-up off once passes are running, and you can see exactly who used a pass on which day in the app.
Unused pass-days do not roll over at renewal, so it is worth buying for a typical month rather than your busiest one and letting the top-up cover the peaks.
Yes. Day passes are a separate monthly subscription that sits alongside your licences, so an annual plan stays annual and keeps its discount. An annual practice with occasional staff is exactly who day passes are for.
Day passes are switched on per practice, so if you do not see them in your billing settings, email hello@usejump.co.uk and we will enable them.
