Compare · Jump vs Midex Pro
Billing-led admin, or a clinical record.
Midex Pro has served UK private consultants and their secretaries since 1994, and its insurer billing pedigree is real. Jump is built the other way up: an electronic health record for private GP practices where the coded consultation comes first and the billing is built around it. This page compares them honestly.
Three days of dysuria and frequency. No fever, no flank pain. No visible haematuria. Second episode this year.
Apyrexial. Abdomen soft, mild suprapubic tenderness. No renal angle tenderness.
The short version
Midex Pro earned thirty years of loyalty by making consultant billing run smoothly - secretaries managing several practices, insurer eBilling through Healthcode, invoicing that tracks the work. Its public materials are lighter on the clinical layer: coding, prescribing checks, questionnaires, automation. Jump starts from that layer - a SNOMED-coded record with dm+d-checked prescribing - and builds the self-pay billing, booking and payments natively around it, with public pricing and same-day setup.
Side by side
Like for like, category by category.
Midex Pro documents a mature billing and admin stack, and those rows are a yes - one goes their way outright. Their materials publish little technical detail on the clinical layer, so several rows honestly read 'not documented' rather than scoring a cross.
Jump's column describes our product as it ships. Midex Pro's reflects their public materials as of July 2026; "Not documented" means we could not find an equivalent there, not a claim it doesn't exist. Products change; if this table is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.

Switching
An honest word on moving from Midex Pro.
Our one-click structured import is currently Semble-only, and we'd rather say that plainly than promise a migration wizard that doesn't exist. Midex Pro transitions are scoped case-by-case with our team.

Practise before go-live
Your team works a sandbox with sample patients first, so day one in Jump isn't the first time anyone has used it.
Coded from the first patient
