Viewing and restoring document versions

Last updated: 12 June 2026

Document version history

Jump keeps a snapshot of your document each time it autosaves, so you can look back at earlier versions and restore one if something was changed by mistake.

Viewing previous versions

Open the document in the editor and select Version history. You will see a list of saved versions with the time each was captured.

Restoring a version

Select a version to preview it, then choose Restore to bring the document back to that state. Restoring creates a new version, so you can always move forward again.

Good to know

  • A new version is captured automatically as you work — you do not need to save manually.
  • This is a Jump Labs feature, available in the new document editor.
