MESH (NHS message exchange)

MESH (Message Exchange for Social Care and Health) is the secure system NHS organisations use to send electronic messages and documents to one another, including GP practices, hospitals and other care providers.

For a private practice, sending a letter to a patient's NHS GP over MESH means the correspondence is delivered electronically and its status can be tracked, rather than relying on a PDF attached to an email and hoping it arrives.

See how Jump puts this into practice.

Structured records, checked prescribing and tracked correspondence - not just definitions.
